  • My love for the written word has always led me to help others.  After minoring in English, I continued to help others with proofreading their papers all through college.

For transcripts specifically, I have completed over 3000 pages of proofreading transcripts for hearings, depositions, EUOs, and trials.  The subjects of those transcripts include medical, technical, workman’s compensation and more.  I am a graduate of the Proofread Anywhere: Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice course.  We have a great reputation with court reporters.

Professionally, I have worked in career services in higher education helping to proof and advise college students on their resumes and cover letters and continue to do so even after leaving the position.  All of my professional positions required managing many, many details and proofreading lots of business copy and documents.  Some examples include programs, training manuals, web copy, marketing materials, memorandums, proposals, assessment reports, and, now, legal transcripts.  So a total of 18 years of experience proofreading.

  • There are certainly many more documents that need proofreading.  Please contact me if you would like to find out if I can help.
